Chirkunov began preparations for the governor elections
January 25 at the first meeting of the new Public Chamber of the Perm Region Governor Oleg Chirkunov said that he was ready to leave his post after the acceptance by State Duma a law of direct elections of heads of the units. At a meeting of the Public Chamber Head of the Region also pointed out that he did not intend to apply for the position of the governor and would not participate in the elections.
In addition the same week Oleg Chirkunov announced his intention to meet with the public council «December 24th», which is the organizer of the opposition meetings in the Region.
Pochinok stepped right
This week ex-senator from the Krasnodar Area Alexander Pochinok, who was elected as a deputy of rural settlement in the Kama Region and has received the formal right to be promoted to the Senate, became a member of the public council of a candidate for president of Russia Mikhail Prokhorov.

The Perm Regional Court has revised verdict against the owner of fast food restaurants «Alendvik» Aleksander Nikiforov. In October 2011 a restaurateur was sentenced to four years imprisonment on the basis of the case of gas bottle explosion in the cafe «Viva la Pizza».
«Salt» of Marat Gelman may require self-bankruptcy
Arbitration Court of the Perm Region has suit «Solikamskbumprom» to recover 1 million rubles as a debt from the company «Salt», that earlier produced the same name online newspaper and magazine.
